Terms of Service

The basics
Small Batch Sellers is a centralized inventory-alert service for small, independent makers (sourdough, eggs, honey, flowers, and the like). Buyers subscribe to receive SMS inventory alerts about the makers they choose to follow. Small Batch Sellers is the sender of record for all SMS messages sent through the platform. By using Small Batch Sellers, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You're responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your login secure. Don't use Small Batch to break the law, harass anyone, or post misleading inventory.
Subscribers and SMS
Subscribers join the Small Batch Sellers SMS program by submitting their own number on a maker's signup page and confirming via SMS double opt-in. Makers do not upload, import, or manually add phone numbers — the platform technically prevents this. Small Batch Sellers — not the maker — is the SMS sender of record, controls all message content, and handles all STOP/HELP/opt-out processing as required by carriers and the TCPA. See our SMS Terms for the full SMS program description.
Drops and reservations
Small Batch helps you take reservations. We don't process payments, deliver products, or guarantee any sale. Anything between you and your customer (price, pickup, refunds, food safety, quality) is between the two of you.
What we collect
We keep things simple — only name and phone number for contacts, plus your email as a seller. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Service availability
We try to keep Small Batch running smoothly, but we provide it "as is" without warranties. We're not liable for lost sales, missed pickups, or undelivered SMS messages.
Ending your account
You can delete your account anytime at Delete account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use means you accept the updated version.
